Musings from the road
Writing, travel, grief, wonder, and life in-between.

The life behind the stories
Robyn Loveland writes stories shaped by a life of contrasts—lawyer, military spouse, mother, traveler.
Her debut novel, Outside the Wire, began as a long-distance conversation with her husband during his deployment and deepened after the loss of their son, leading her to explore themes of connection, consciousness, and resilience.
A Creighton University law graduate, Robyn now travels full-time across America in a motorhome, writing, reflecting, and sharing her journey on Substack and YouTube.

A novel by Robyn Loveland
When Jordyn returns to North Dakota for her father’s funeral, she expects grief—not a coded trail of clues revealing a classified government training protocol in psychic warfare.
As she unlocks each memory, she realizes she wasn’t just raised by her father—she was trained by him. JJ was the architect of the Gateway Project, and the government is watching her.
